Doesn't work at all

Doesn't work at all. Heating doesn't work. The fan switch doesn't work either. The fan runs at the same speed all the time and does not heat up. He will be returned. I can't believe Black & Decker put their name on it.

Good Heater for Heaters

The heater can be plugged into a regular outlet, heats well. Low profile, don't worry it will fall off easily. The thermostat is annoying, but not a problem for me. Love it, have been using it for a year now and have used it very little.

Looks industrial, but it's not.

Everything worked as described except there was very little heat or airflow. The device looks industrial, but it does not heat more than a bathroom. Don't buy if you want to heat a large bedroom or small garage.

It would probably fare much better in an unheated/insulated garage.

Used in a large shed to heat tractors and mowers. I don't expect it to HEAT the barn, just keep the outside temperature above 25 degrees. The temperature in the barn was about 40 and it was much colder outside. Cars are much easier to start which is why I have it. An unheated/insulated garage would probably be much better. NOTE: Standard 3-pin connector.

Very poor heat and air performance

Very poor heat and air supply. I don't produce enough heat to heat even a small room. I have the same fan that I stick in the back to help it blow air, which helps a bit. However, heat it very slightly. The product looks solid and industrial; however, it does not generate enough heat or enough convection. The old adage that you pay for what you get doesn't apply here. I paid too much for an undelivered product.

Poor frame design works well

Not sure why they made the angle of this heater adjustable. The cable comes out from the bottom of the heater and as soon as you try to tilt the heater up or down on the frame it will push the frame off the ground. So there's no point in doing it. You had to make the frame a little higher at the bottom so you could tilt the heater. Aside from one minor inconvenience, this is a great product and it works well.

Looks like I can hit him!

Looks tough but I just received this item so let's see how long it lasts before I update this review. (November 2020) Let's start by saying it's huge. That's a lot for a heater. The height adjustment pins aren't great and require a little effort to keep them in place, but they will fall off. The fan is very quiet with a nice little hum, but there is also a rather light breeze. Better than nothing, but my old little tinkerer had a little more throwing power with his fan.
