Black Leather Patches Couch Repair Review

This patch works well if you put it on an area you don't intend to use frequently. I put it on the console cover and armrest. Those are the areas I use a lot when driving, getting in and out. After a while, the adhesion will thin and the patch will peel off. But if you want to fix it and move on, this is a good choice.

I used this product to repair a long open hole in the armrest of my leather office chair. I followed the repair instructions given in the manual that came with it and also watched the recommended video. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I attached a clip to the (computer) mouse platform designed for the table (but I attached it to the armrest of the Ikea Poang chair). I have the Revain mouse platform. It worked great but had cheap soft foam and a bowling pin shaped vinyl top. After a few weeks, the vinyl began to peel off the thin layer of foam and curl. I liked this repair kit so much I had to write a review. It is very easy to use and goes well with my leather sofa. It comes with an overlay that is the equivalent of an 8x11 sheet of paper and a smaller overlay that I cut out to use in small areas of my sofa. I first ordered upholstery tape from another company and it was terrible. This is real tape, very sticky and of course when removed it will leave marks. I used this on the center console cover of the car. Over the years of driving, my elbow has punched a 4- to 6-inch diameter hole in the center of the top of the console cover.
