Literally the worst roll of paracord we've bought to date.

Literally the worst roll of paracord we've ever bought. at least 5 locations. This leads to significant losses on our part. Also, because of the cheap spindle, it was partially loosened in the reel, resulting in a tangled mess that took a lot of work. 0/5 stars.

NOT Type III Terrible Coil, avoid.

As other reviewers have pointed out, this is NOT a Type III 550 cable, but for the price I'd still give it 3 stars for quality as it's reasonable enough to connect the ends of a dipole HF antenna for amateur radio. However, the coil is complete nonsense. When I took it out of the box, the bottom of the spool fell off, forming a 1,000 foot skein of paracord. Unraveled what I needed to get the job done but threw the rest in the box and probably won't use it in the future. Not worth the hours of…

BE CAREFUL! Not a 7 strand paracord but a 5 strand paracord

Not what was advertised but not broken yet. I just wish the company was more open about what they sell. Why would they sell you a product with a great description and then offer you something of lesser quality? I just do not understand. No, I have not written to the company nor have I attempted to return the money. I just settled for the crap I got because I'm very busy and don't have time to take the rest of my reel to the post office, wrap it up and send it back just to wait a few more weeks…

  • So far so good

It's awesome! 1000 feet is a LONG walk. I cut 10-30 foot pieces and store a bundle in every vehicle, my travel trunk, motorcycle, backpacks, tent backpack and other places. It takes up minimal space on a reel and converts into a compact lifeline. I've used it countless times from hanging hanging planters to tying up lumber at Home Depot to securing tent poles. During the trip, I tied things to a travel backpack and a suitcase. I use it all the time when camping or a person on fire. It is so…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I don't remember

This is not a standard specification, although it is suitable for general use. The diameter is over a mil and the inner strands are 7 double instead of triple, they also appear to be polyester rather than nylon. I don't use paracord that often, so it took me a while to figure out the following two things: The spool is horribly cheap cardboard that doesn't stand up to moisture, even just being in a NYC garage was too tough for it up to 2 years, it just fell apart and the sides fell off…

This appears to be a genuine item

There are a number of reviews on this site stating that this item is not genuine paracord and do not buy it, some say it is. All I can say is that I ordered a 1000ft black line with 550 spools (sold by Love It Enterprises). It consists of a black woven outer shell and 7 double-layer inner threads (white) and 3 single threads (2 white, 1 orange). While I don't believe this is the same item actually used to attach a parachute, it looks like "paracord" in a more conventional sense. I haven't…

Great product from Love it Enterprises LLC

I purchased a 1000ft reel of 550 line and actually received my order from Love it Enterprises LLC before the estimated date and it was way better than expected it is mil - spec 550 on a roll it says commercial but it is mil spec actually it says both mil spec and commercial tested for the military but the same quality is still there but will get more for more testing cost so that it is sold at a lower price. The sales manager I spoke to was very knowledgeable about his products, he was to…

Much better than I expected

Like many people, I read reviews before I buy my products. Reviews of this paracord were everywhere. I wanted it to be good because the price was so good. But listen guys. This is the reality of the situation. (at least MY situation). Paracord is NOT military gear and shouldn't be. There is a difference in how the 2 are produced. Military-tested for weight, manufacturer's mark and inner strand colored differently depending on the manufacturer. Now commercial paracord is basically the same…

Strike 3, NOT Type III, Milspec 550 Paracord

This is my second order from Revain trying to get Milspec Type III Paracord and still no joy. Although the quality of this order was better than my first order, I still have not received what is for sale. This order came from Love It Enterprises, LLC and was filled by Revain, so I'm not exactly sure who is responsible for it. for what, but reading previous reviews I had high hopes that Love it Enterprises would be a good supplier. This was not in my specific order. Upon inspecting the item I…
