It is true that these are not the most durable headbands in the world. They will break eventually but I love how they fit and how my hair looks when I wear them. I buy these knowing that they will only last a few months or so with daily use, but that's fine. Nothing else I've tried makes my hair as beautiful or as comfortable.

I only use these headbands to hold my hair when I'm washing my face, but that means they can be used twice a day and when not used, they are discarded in a box. As far as I know since I just received them they hold up like any other plastic headband I've had; ie they will eventually break and eventually need to be replaced, but until then they last a long time.

I read the reviews and for those who say the teeth are up I just have to say where it is the opposite. i have thin hair I put mine on the teeth first. I push it back like I normally would and use the prongs to push it forward to give my front hair some volume. It's just wonderful. These are the only ones I can wear that stay in place and make my hair beautiful. They are comfortable too.

Looks very nice but the plastic is not strong enough to hold hair. I have straight, thin hair and she wasn't holding it. Maybe because it might be too small for my head. I'm not sure. I was hoping for a headband that doesn't move and holds my hair back without having to constantly adjust. Also, I would love to be able to buy two in the same color.

As another reviewer said - the prongs are tilted upwards so they don't touch my hair at all, just sit on top. I even tried bending down and combing my hair before applying the bandage, but I couldn't get my teeth to catch the hair. I suspect this works as expected if you have very curly hair with a lot of loft. My hair is wavy but not curly.
