Amazing! That thing is like butter. All-round high quality. Trackballs are smooth. dials too. How cool for the money. Facilitates the assessment.

Really good build quality, the whole unit is encased in solid metal, not just a thin sheet of aluminium. All pens are very smooth and incredibly accurate, making grading and color editing easy and much more exciting.

Incredible build quality (better for the price). Very strong metal construction with weighted balls for a great feel when color grading. It took me a while to get used to painting with it and it took me a while to figure out how to make room for it on my desk, but I enjoy it as a luxury item. Definitely not required but nice to use

The full-screen color editing that the panel enables comes at a price. Giving it 4 stars because the 'New Node' button really should have been enabled and their licensing policy worries me. Blackmagic states that the sale of the hardware will enable further development of DaVinci Resolve. If so, why don't they ship a copy of Studio along with the hardware? So this panel is great for basic color grading, but the mini panel is so much more useful it's hard to recommend. I know the mini panel is much more expensive, but the micro panel is very limited in some respects. For example, there is no button to add a daisy chain, you cannot adjust curves, power windows, etc. Also, you can't use any of the ring dials as a jog wheel in edit mode, but neither can the mini-panel. The biggest downside to this panel is that there is no new node button. If you have the cash from the Mini I suggest using it because it has a button for every knot you can think of. still retain 100% control over the range of colors you produce - it's well worth the money. Makes it much easier to make precise changes (and change multiple items at once) on the Resolve Color Correction page. Seriously built like a tank and feels great with heavy controls. I am most looking forward to customizing and evaluating this device.
