best camera strap i have ever had

not sure why it took me so long to find out that this type of strap can be used. For years I've slid my shoulder strap under, around, or over my backpack, but no more. If you think you need it, then you definitely need it. buy now

Pros
  • easy to attach
Cons
  • reliable

Amazing for hiking and rock climbing!

I have been using the BR sport breathing belt for many years but it is not very comfortable when wearing it with a backpack over it. That solves the problem! Connect to the forklift on one side and to the lower chord on the other side, done. The packaging looks very small for the price, but works great and reliably.

Pros
  • Finally got it
Cons
  • Expensive

A big improvement over the original black Rapid straps

I usually wear a camera vest with D-rings on the front and back of the shoulders. I ordered two of these and now I can carry two cameras by simply clipping them to the vest's D-rings without all the extra shoulder pads/straps/etc. of the traditional dual camera strap. The locking sliders are a big improvement over the original Black Rapid design and help keep camera shake to a minimum with slightly better movement. Very happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Also turns the backpack into a dual camera system!

I'll find out right away that you don't have to unfold the belt as recommended by the manufacturer. I recently used two of these straps on the go, one on each side of the pack. This allowed me to take two cameras (one telephoto and one wide) on nature hikes through forests, caves, beaches, rivers and sand dunes in Northern California. In my case, I used the Arc'teryx Alpha FL 45 backpack, but any backpack with shoulder straps will work. Tips: 1. I strongly recommend using screw lock to secure…

Works well with a backpack - added strap for solo use

I had a Sony a6000 from https://smile.amazon.com/BosStrap-Generation-Sliding-System-Cameras/dp /B008R5EG9Q Strap over shoulder BosStrap for several years. I wanted to switch to a backpack to carry more gear (I chose the Altura Grand Explorer Backpack https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JZTYU8E) and I was intrigued by the black Rapid backpack strap. I like the way the BosStrap connects to the camera on the neck strap ring, so I also bought the OP/TECH Utility Loop…

The best camera strap for a backpack!

After much research and testing I chose this harness for a 27 mile hike last summer. I like how the strap distributes the weight of the camera between the two shoulder straps of the backpack without transferring the entire weight of the camera to just one shoulder. Protect your camera. The path is dusty and muddy. Sometimes it rains. And you have to be very careful not to hit the camera while walking through limbs or putting on or taking off your backpack. I have cases to cover the camera, but…

  • Best in its niche

  • Negative present

Get the BlackRapid Cross Shot instead!

My camera and lens are a bit heavy and I was looking for something better than my old hiking neck strap. I bought this and I liked it. The strap distributed the weight fairly well and my camera was very accessible. The setup works great with my long lens hood Canon 70-300L. This belt was a huge improvement over my old neck strap and vest I had previously tried. The main downside was that this strap is awkward to put on and take off the backpack and when I travel I have to take the backpack off…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best
