Be careful! Best in Food

The formula has been modified and they are not communicated to you. I found out when my dog got sick from it! And he was on the old formula for 3 years

It really stopped chronic itching and hot spots.

My gold has stopped itching and the hot spots are gone. My daughter used it for her dog with chronic itchy ears and it went away. Dogs seem to love the taste.

I trust their taste judging the taste in this review! Both of my lab mixes are totally excited about this food brand. Of course, they're not exactly picky eaters. The entire dog magazine also praises this brand.

The top has a zipper, not Velcro like other fragrances.

The food is good, my furry friend loves it. But for some reason this fragrance has a zip closure at the top instead of the velcro we are used to. This makes it difficult to maintain the seal and frankly makes it difficult to maintain freshness. Please consider changing this.

Excellent food, highly recommended.

We have 3 dogs: a Boxer, a male Boston Terrier and a German Shepherd (puppy). Dogs love it and the quality is great. We have three dogs, different stomach sensitivities, different ages and this food is suitable for everyone. Solid waste, and dogs now leave "gifts" alone. (Not so with other dog foods.) The red pouch seems to be a favorite in our house. Dogs used to leave food outside, but now they eat it right away. Good choice, definitely recommended.

We have recently switched to this variety from Blackwood Puppy Food. My lab mix is about 18 months old. He got a little fed up with the puppy food and stopped eating it. He loves this scent. I love this brand for their quality ingredients at an affordable price. You get more bang for your buck, in part because you don't have to feed large amounts like many cheaper brands. I particularly like that my dog has less/less poo (due to less junk food). He also has a beautiful coat!

My dog suffered from pancreatitis earlier this year and this brand of dog food was recommended to us because the low fat content calms her now overly sensitive tummy. He's never liked chicken flavored food, but he's looking forward to the moment when he can eat it, and he's eating it now! I love that it's made in the USA and not overseas. Good and bad good for dogs

I have no complaints about Blackwood dog food. My 2 Great Danes get along with it very well. The complaint is that the bags were damaged upon delivery and this is not the company's fault. The last 2 packages were torn and there were parts everywhere in the box. I recommend not ordering online but picking up at a local pet store.
