Blaupunkt 6 2 Inch Multimedia Receiver Bluetooth Review

Disappointed with the sound quality. The radio plays very statically and the quality of the connection with the microphone / bluetooth is terrible. The only purpose I bought it for was to have Bluetooth and hands-free calling while driving. It didn't serve my purpose.

I had trouble playing MP3 files from SD and USB. I tried everything, changed cards, formatted cards, just didn't read files normally. No problem playing the same files on multiple other devices. I've tried getting help from Blaupunk a couple of times but have been told they don't have tech support. The best solution was to find a private technician and "pay" for help. this is not good!

Good value. I was surprised that nothing could be installed in the stereo. In other words, get the mounting brackets and fairing around the face from another source because this gear is as deserted as it gets. Don't even expect screws or washers to support and hold the radio unit. Otherwise I think it's a good product. Will buy Blaupunkt again.

Bluetooth radio connects to my phone for calls but it doesn't download all my contacts. The music function for Bluetooth does not work either. The song information is displayed but there is no sound. Calling Blaupunkt is a waste of time as they say they don't have tech support. The wiring harness for my radio had incorrect wire markings that differed from the owner's manual. I'll be back.

I bought this unit to replace a Boss head unit that stopped working after 1 year. I also use this to run dual monitors in my headrests. The sound quality is light years better than the Boss and it was in the same price range. This receiver is called Blaupunkt but it's made in China. Everything works to a certain extent, but fails in other aspects. The CD player samples and plays content like any other player, but the algorithm used to play the music shortens the track's start time just enough for the listener to miss the attack. For this money the head unit is normal. If you listen to FM radio, stay away from it. By far the worst reception of any head unit I've ever owned. Pairing my phone with bluetooth was unnecessarily complicated as you have to select the head unit as a speaker and not a real bluetooth device. It doesn't pair as a Bluetooth device, but it does pair when you select it as a speaker and everything seems to be working. For the offer, Blaupunkt can't be beat at this price. The touch screen function does not respond. It's mediocre at best, not the slowest I've used. The remote control function is bad. The portable remote control is a very cheap feel. Image quality is good. The sound quality is excellent compared to the old 2007 Honda factory head unit. This is a nice upgrade to your everyday family carrier. I wouldn't put that level in my best show project. When Blaupunkt reads this. Please point me to the best
