I'm not new to car audio. This epicenter literally does what loved ones do. I have a 1600.1D with a 10" subwoofer and it looks like I have 2 15" subwoofers. very crisp and clean rebuilt bass with 7.5v. love the look, love the knob. 5 stars without hesitation

As far as bass handling goes, it's okay at best. Just not the best or cleanest. It could probably be worse, but if you're looking for quality at a lower price, look elsewhere. Tried as tried different settings. It's just not something that sounds good across a wide range of genres. This can be a bit convenient in certain recordings and situations. High-end brands tend to sound better with a wider range of genres and more precise settings.

I bought this to restore bass in Spanish (gang) music as well as rock and reggae. First I worked in a car audio store, where I installed high quality sound systems. For what I needed, this thing performs just as well as the industry benchmark, the Epicenter, for only a fifth of the price. I am very happy with my purchase as I have tried other brands that were not Epicenter and did not give good results but this one is great. I paired it with a Blaupunkt amp and a Pioneer 12" subwoofer.
