They are definitely more expensive than standard hair ties, but worth their price. They are durable and are not likely to break easily, tangle or tear hair when removed like less expensive ones. They stretch a little after the first application, which depending on the hairstyle may require an additional loop for the next application.

I really believed in the ads that rubber bands don't "tangle, catch or damage hair". Not true. The rubber bands are so tight I barely have time to twist them once. And trying to pull the elastic will result in tangles and plucked hair. I've tried using Blax a few times hoping that maybe I just used them wrong. I've learned my lesson and I won't put it on my hair anymore.

These hair ties are everything I hoped for and better than any other hair ties I have used. The others, which come in a pack of 50, wear out after a few uses, but this one doesn't.
