This is the second of these replacement blades, bearings and seal that I have purchased from the same seller. I bought them because the bearing was leaking oil. The first one I got worked fine. However, this second one started to lose oil the first time I used it. The blades of the second one also appear to have been used before.

I bought my mother an osterizer. Reminds me of the original block. I'm glad the bearing is nice and tight. Their only complaint is that the gaskets/washers are loose on the base. If the gasket is not carefully centered between the glass and the base, fluids will leak all over the motor and gauge. However, it's nice to have replacement parts for blenders that are 50 years old or older and that work well!

I use this product about 5 times a week to make smoothies. It's been dripping for a few months now, not much but enough to make a mess on the counter every day. I make smoothies in the morning and to be honest I hardly woke up and generally forgot it was going to leak. I thought maybe it's user error, but I think it's just a glitch. Kind of a shame because I'm not strict and expected it to last more than 6 months.

Replacement blade and base fit my old oster blender perfectly but almost every time I use it black oily liquid leaks from ice breaker blade. Thankfully, this stuff didn't get into the food when I dumped it out of the blender, but I have to put a napkin or paper towel on the floor to catch it.
