True to size! This is a quality shoe that will comfortably conform to the shape of your foot when worn and should be snug so DO NOT add size. My daughters are 8 and both need 8's in this shoe. One daughter has a narrow foot, one has a fat foot, but both fit an 8. You'll stretch. Unfortunately I read reviews and bought "Upsize" as a gift, now I'm changing it to its real size. Get out of trouble.

These shoes are very comfortable! I love how flexible they are in the middle, but I feel like I should post a little warning. If you want to stand on your toes, you can't in these shoes! The reason they are called "Tap-Flex" is because the soul of the shoe is not hard or stiff like other shoes. Fit as expected, one size up. The Bloch site says to go a size 1/2 to 1 and after looking at the reviews I decided to go up a full size.
