The two sides of the upper are fastened together with an elastic strip featuring a snap design as well as a ribbon which has been threaded through the eyelets and tied in a bow to conceal the elastic. Soft cashmere lining and padded insole for comfort and to reduce moisture; Bloch Techno taps. A non-slip pro balance pad has been added to the resin outsole to smooth out weight transference. The back of the shoe has no seam lines in lining and an extra piece of black leather to secure the heel and minimize rubbing. Sizing: Start with 1/2 size up from street shoe.

Awesome tap dancing shoes

I bought these shoes for my 4 year old daughter who is in her second year of tap dancing. They appear to be slightly better than the Payless shoes and about the same price. For reference, last time I measured my daughter's legs, one was a size 9 and the other was a 10. I ordered a size 11 so they will last at least a year. I used sizing info from other reviewers and it worked! My almost 4 year old daughter started her family's first dance class a week ago and I booked without even trying anything on her. The best girls are undoubtedly patting their shoes.

I used to be a Capezio fan but these tap shoes changed my mind. They are vastly superior to the Capezio Tyettes in several ways. The faucet itself, which is made of heavier and more durable metal, produces a louder noise. And they sit flush with the outsole, with a thin layer of rubber for better traction.
