Description of ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Bloch Women's Element Performance Shoe

100% Fabric or Textile. Imported. Rubber sole. Shaft measures approximately low-top from arch. A multi-layered sole provides more of the necessary foot support and shock absorption then in a traditional EVA sole. The combination of high tech materials surrounding the spin spot have been designed to provide the perfect amount of slip vs grip on all floor surfaces. The outer side of the sole acts as a brake and the improved, high density spin spot assists in free movement related to spinning and sliding. The streamlined upper provides a dynamic fit that holds the foot securely during fast movements. The mesh upper with traditional lace up closure and padded tongue ensures an extremely lightweight and flexible feel in a full sole shoe.

Beautiful dance shoe for women

I don't understand why this shoe is listed as "athletic shoes" even though I found it while searching for dance shoes. The front part of the sole is intended for dancing. I ordered a size 6.5 although I usually wear a 6. It came out perfect. There isn't much support for the vault. I prefer that anyway. The shoes are very comfortable, light and turn/rotate very well. I love her. I will look for another color and stick with this size.

Pros
  • The combination of high-tech materials around the pivot point is designed to provide perfect grip and glide on all floor surfaces.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Very nice sneakers that look like dancing shoes

Very nice sneakers that look like dancing shoes. I'm new to dancing and have some foot issues so I needed something that looked as good as running shoes. I've tried on about five different shoes and this one went well in size. But they don't have arch supports and you can't fit your own orthotics in them, so I need to glue on some arch supports. They're really fun, I ordered pink and for a west coast swing I think they're spot on.

Pros
  • Shaft height is about low from the arch
Cons
  • Not everything fits

These shoes are my favorite shoes.

These shoes are my favorite shoes. JE! I wear them to ballroom dancing classes. They are lightweight and fit like a glove. They are great for turning and protect your knees and ankles. The ball part of the shoe allows you to rotate. The outer rim allows you to stop or brake. You need practice to find and use the full functionality of the theme. After about an hour of dancing, they became my new best friends in dance class. As for the fit; I wear an 8.5 and bought an 8.5. My toe goes right toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The outsole acts as a brake, while an upgraded high-density rotational patch encourages free movement while rotating and sliding.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Not Safe at Any Speed โ€‹โ€‹

These shoes run very small - I would say go 1-1 1/2 sizes bigger. But the main reason for the bad rating is that the shoes are too slippery to trust the Zumba. I think they will be good on carpet, but the gym floor I use for zumba renders these shoes useless. I wore them once and can't return them due to wear and tear and have tried them several times since and not only does it hurt my feet (despite being fully grown these shoes have an unforgivingly hard sole and they just don't move with me),

Pros
  • Mesh upper with traditional laces and padded tongue provides an extremely lightweight and flexible feel.
Cons
  • Weight

ZERO CUSHION, small size

Nice looking low profile shoe that I think would be great for cardio intensive dance classes. They were there until they disappeared. There is absolutely no cushioning in the heel or forefoot in these shoes and after one session of some jumping and running in place I ended up with bruises on the balls of my feet. I pulled out the insole, which isn't an insole at all - it's just an unlined lining that sits right on top of the rubber sole. I tried putting in different types of insoles/orthoticsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The multi-layer midsole offers more support and cushioning than the traditional EVA midsole.
Cons
  • Durability

Cute! Perfect for dancing and having fun

I bought these shoes to audition for a dance team. They spin very easily on the gym's polished wooden floor, but aren't too slippery. Literally the perfect middle ground. I like that the shoes are fairly flat so you don't have to worry about tipping or heeling while dancing like most jazz shoes do. Also, the shoes are very cute and look like normal Nike sneakers only without the logo. Some commenters say the shoe fits better but to be honest I almost wish I had bought a size smaller just to try

Pros
  • 100% fabric or textile
Cons
  • sad packaging
