These shoes run very small - I would say go 1-1 1/2 sizes bigger. But the main reason for the bad rating is that the shoes are too slippery to trust the Zumba. I think they will be good on carpet, but the gym floor I use for zumba renders these shoes useless. I wore them once and can't return them due to wear and tear and have tried them several times since and not only does it hurt my feet (despite being fully grown these shoes have an unforgivingly hard sole and they just don't move with me), but I'm afraid my feet will slip off me. I bought these shoes specifically to be able to slide and turn well, but they just don't feel secure. I just had to replace my old Corky dance shoes with a new pair - they allowed me to move perfectly without being too slippery. Disappointed to spend money on it.
