Make sure to face the solar panel as easterly as possible to maximize exposure to the sun

Setup was easy. The three brightnesses are a plus as well as the ability to have them do patterned pulsing. Two remotes are also a plus. Charging the batteries occurs whether you leave the unit on or off (the lights only activate once it is dark enough for the battery to activate, so turning the unit "on" will not necessarily flip the lights on .it has to be dark enough for that.)

Pros
  • The solar works great. The lights stay on for 8 hours.
Cons
  • The string lights may have a limited lifespan and may need to be replaced frequently

working great so far

I've only had them up a few days but I really like them. I like the 3 different color options and they are dimmable. After putting them up I realized that I want more lights so I have to buy more.I charged them via the USB port to make sure they worked before hanging them. We thought they weren't working at first because they would cut off and on. Well we realized it was the solar panel. It has to be dark. lol. So we turned it faced down and they stayed on in the house. Try not to drag them on…

An okay product in my review

The lights came with good packing. The solar panel is good and battery charge is also good. Remote has good long range and you can change things around from quiet a few distance. I was disappointed with the light brightness. They are okay bright and not as bright as I expected. They come in 3 colors but all 3 are so-so bright. Within that they have 3-4 brightness settings, and the brightest one is not that bright, so you can imagine the lowest brightness will be just a mild glow. Was expecting…

Nice! Once you figure it out.

Be aware that by "3 color" they mean yellow (2700K), white (3500K), and daylight white (5000K), not different colors. Works for me. Also, since the string has a light sensor, it won't turn on until pretty dark. Also ok for me. You can get it to turn on to check that it works (after charged) by blocking light from the panel. After it turns on, it's nice to be able to set it to stay on for 30, 60, or 120 minutes. The lights blink when you set the time, so you know it's done.Now that we have it…

Great ambiance best in my review

Really works well when you're out camping and don't have any hookups. Doesn't provide as much light for cooking as you would think unless you have it all draped in the area above where you're going to cook. Other than that it provided just the right amount of light around the campsite. Obviously you can use this for anything, but the purpose of us buying this was for camping. I would recommend it for camping.

You can’t use them during the daylight!

I would’ve given them 5 stars but it is not stated anywhere that these cannot be used during the daytime. Even called to have them replaced because they wouldn’t come on when I wanted them to. Once they come on they work great! They should include a cover for the solar panel!

These are awesome for our campsite.

We have a double wide EZ up canopy and these lights fit around it perfectly. We are very pleased with our purchase. Well worth the money.

  • No worries, whatever sunny or rainy- A premium super large-capacity solar panel and an addition USB charging port, they allow customers use these string lights well even in the bad conditions. Great purchase - my new review

It was easy to hang these up on my patio pergola. I propped the solar charger into a planter next to the pergola and haven’t had an issue. It’s nice that they automatically come on at night. I keep the remote inside and can easily adjust the brightness or turn them off from my kitchen.

Terrible product! on my review.

I tested these before hanging them and they came on! AFTER hanging them they would light up for 3-5 seconds then shut off! I went up a 6ft ladder 10 or more times with the same results! I can’t return them because the return date has past so I’m trashing them! They were $49.99 a piece and I was stupid enough to buy 6!

Exactly as advertised!

Product was easy to install with a few nails/screws above our outdoor patio. Lights came charged as advertised so we could immediately see the lighting which my wife enjoyed. Solar panel is nicely designed and can be installed out of sight and no electrical needed. Remote is great for control of lighting and warm/cool style lights. Quality lights on my review.

Great large light bulbs. They seem like they will last through all kinds of weather. I decide to drape mine. Hubby would like them to be brighter but I think they are perfect. They have 3 color settings on the remote control with other settings. The solar lights turned on as described.

Unreliable, beautiful glow

Though not bright because they're solar powered, they add a nice glow to your property. During short, winter days they stay on for about 3 hours after sunset. I don't know yet how long they would last after charging for a long summer day. Sometimes they don't come on on their own, and sometimes they do, and sometimes they switch color temperature without having done so on the remote.

Great Set of Outdoor Lights for the Cost

We bought these outdoor lights about 8 months ago. Out of the box they worked great! They are very easy to install and the solar starts charging the lights right out of the box. They worked for about 8 months then stopped working all together. I contacted the seller about the 12 month warranty and they sent out a replacement set at no cost. The Custer service was quick and responsive. So far the new lights work great and are the newer version of the lights.

Good set of solar lights!

Exactly what I was expecting them to be, like the dimmer, and timer options, color option is nice as well. Only thing that could make them nicer would be more bulbs in the 50ft distance. Great product so far! Would buy them again!
