Holding up really well after 6 months

These are holding up really well after 6 months. They are on every night for approx. 3 hrs. I wish they wouldn't come on at dark automatically though. There doesn't seem to be a way to change that, so I have to remember to shut them off at bedtime every night. It's a bit of a hassle.

Pros
  • ‎11.57 x 9.17 x 7.28 inches
Cons
  • The string lights may not be able to withstand accidentally whacking or bumping into them

Bright and color adjustment

This remote is very nice to use. The warmness of the lighting color is a nice feature along with being able to charge the panels in the house on a cloudy day. I have had these on in the upwards of 8 hours a time and have not had them loose charge.

Pros
  • 🌞4 Level Timer Function
Cons
  • The string lights may be too heavy or cumbersome to install

We are happy with them…

We love the solar capability of these lights, they are bright enough for mood lighting, but not enough to read by- we didn’t expect them to be that bright so we weren’t disappointed. The remote works great, it was a little frustrating trying to figure out when they were "on” at first, but it worked out. We like them and would buy them again when we’re ready to add strings.

Pros
  • ‎Water Resistant
Cons
  • The solar panels may require frequent cleaning to maintain maximum efficiency

Won’t come on if there is any light

We bought this for inside a shed/coop. If there is any light getting to the solar panel the lights do not come on. It has to be completely dark. I wanted it so I could see to gather eggs & shut my hens in for the night. I have to wait until it is super dark. They work for that but I won’t be buying any for my patio as we would need the lights on before complete darkness.

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • The solar panels may not be able to keep up with the demands of multiple strings of lights

Just what I expected

This product is easy to hang if you have the right hardware. I bought two sets and put them up. They are sturdy because someone knocked one of the strings of lights off the hook (hence get the right hardware) and they still worked. I do not know what brightness you should expect, but I think they could be brighter. However.it was fine for my needs. It gave my backyard ambiance. The solar panels work for both sets of lights, so I keep one as a backup, and the remote control the lights as…

Pros
  • ‎Outdoor
Cons
  • The string lights may not be able to provide enough light for outdoor safety needs

Pretty Good Light String

I installed this light string on my patio using outdoor Command hooks on the metal roof structure. I like the various color temperature and brightness settings. FYI, the string does not "remember" any timer settings if you use the remote control. They will be dusk-to-dawn by default but if you select a timed off setting you have to manually turn them on the next night. But overall, I like them very much.

Pros
  • ‎2 * Remote, 1 * User Guide, 1 * USB Charging Cable, 1 * Solar String Lights, 18 * E26 S14 LED Bulbs (3 Spares), 1* Solar Panel with Clip & Stake
Cons
  • The string lights may interfere with nearby wildlife or natural habitats

Can't connect them!

I got these as a gift for our daughter and they come as two strands that connect together. Well, that would actually be nice if they did. The connections wouldn't fit. And they waited too long to try them out and the "return" window is closed. :(

Pros
  • ‎USTX-SSL02-1
Cons
  • The string lights may not be long enough for larger outdoor spaces

They work as advertised

I performed considerable research in locating suitable outdoor string lights for our enclosed deck area. These lights fit my requirements 100% - durable, outdoor and weatherproof, solar powered, and remote controller capability. I bout two strings totaling 100' and got them installed in about 1 1/2 hours. The solar panels were easy to install. And I used them the first night. They worked like a charm and the controller is awesome. They provided significant spares of light bulbs and controllers.

Pros
  • ‎Shatterproof High-quality Plastic
Cons
  • The string lights may be too bright for some users' eyes

Ok, but great customer service

Bought these and originally loved them because of the solar power and length but recently, one set just stopped working. Looked and can't figure out why. Expensive for it to go out within 6 months. Update***customer service reached out to me and offered a refund or new ones. I received new ones less than a week. Awesome service.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • The solar panels may become discolored or stained over time

Perfect ambience best in my review

They look amazing hanging on my shadowbox wooden fence. They light up each post giving it a lantern effect. I was able to cover the solar panel and verify all bulbs worked as soon as I took it out of the box. The hanging tabs are sturdy and will increase cord life. So far they seem sturdy and weatherproof. I dont get more than a couplehours of light from them but there are 2 giant trees above them. If I had a longer extension cord to the solar panel I assume it would be longer giving more solar…

Pros
  • ‎Shatter resistant; shock vibration resistant; Dimmable
Cons
  • The string lights may not be able to provide bright enough lighting for outdoor sports or recreational activities

Not the best good for me

I purchased 2 sets. One of the sets turned on for about a week and then it just stopped working. The second set turns on occasionally

Pros
  • ‎Remote
Cons
  • The string lights may not function at all without a working remote control

Additional Tips not included in the instructions.

Everything in the instructions is pretty much explained except for one thing, the mode switch on the back of a solar panel. If a mode switch is "off" the lights "Will NOT" come on at dusk. You can still turn the lights on and off using the remote control but they won't come on automatically. The instruction should read.Dusk On/Off 2700k/ 4000k/ 5000kThe brightness is what I expect out of a 1 watt bulb. The remote works well, no complaints

Pros
  • ‎3 AAA batteries required.
Cons
  • The string lights may be too fragile for outdoor use
