Product does not allow my iPhone to send turn-by-turn instructions through my car's USB system. The charging options are the same as before without an adapter. This product could be improved if the outer edges weren't so sharp. A little filing or maybe shrinking will heal it. It's also a bit long, but this product is shorter than most other similar data lock products. I just think it could have been even shorter.

I like knowing that I can safely charge my phone from any USB port without worrying about viruses or data theft. It feels strong and durable and is small enough to take anywhere with my USB cable. The second one I carry in my computer bag, so if someone wants to charge their phone from my computer, I will also protect my computer.

I bought it, so when I charge my cell phone and laptop with public charger, like charger at airport, plane or hotel etc. I don't get no virus. I used it when I traveled abroad, better safe than sorry. It worked great. Don't use this when transferring files from one device to another, the transfer will be blocked and won't work - it does the job. But you can use your cell phone while this thing is in use and charging.
