Great fun but probably not for a 4 year old. Even my 5 year old needs help

I know the manufacturers put the recommended age range on the packaging but I have no idea how a 4 year old can do that. I also had to help my 5 year old but had no problem with it, it was fun doing it together and he loved the end product. Very cute and creative. Certainly not long-lasting, but that's to be expected.

Pros
  • Master Learning: Helps develop logical problem solving and spatial thinking.
Cons
  • Functionality

Not as fun as it sounds

My son who is 7 years old loves to build with lego, lincoln trunks, trios etc so I really thought he would be interested. They look so weird but they don't go well together so that upset my son and I. Now that we've built some of the creatures he's enjoyed playing with them because they're pretty cool. But the shards fall off easily, and the boy who just made things a bit rough in our house when the two-year-old sister wants to play with the big shark! I won't buy any more of these.

Pros
  • Includes 181 foam pads, 54 plastic connectors and instructions.
Cons
  • Some difficulty

Apparently fun, but not as good as it looked

Bought for my son's 6th birthday. He loves Lego and building, he has good manual skills. I sat down with him to build some of the sea creatures from the booklet and to be honest I had some trouble figuring out some of the instructions. They aren't as easy to assemble as Lego sets and the instructions aren't as clear. We made a hammerhead shark and a monkfish. Creatures you create are fun for kids once built, but they don't hold together very well. The parts can also be easily destroyed…

Pros
  • Safe Play: Great parental approval for durable, soft and washable products. Free from lead, BPA and phthalates.
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
