Cats love this food

My senior cat had so many problems with vomiting and tried so many different brands of cat food that were healthy. But apparently the problem was his age which is 16 years old and his digestive system has changed. He vomited at least a few times a week, which was a real mess. His name is Hobby and my other cat is 8 years old and his name is Skittles. My two cats love this food and I also feed them Blue Buffalo in the morning. Since switching to Basics Limited Diet Grain Free I have had no more…

Blue Basics is great!

At first I fed Princess Eukanuba until they stopped doing it. I tried natural brand after natural and she hated them all. My mom fed her dog Blue Basics because he would get pancreatitis if he ate the wrong food. I decided to give it a try. She loved him from the first breath. It has been 6 years since then at Blue Basics Turkey and Potato and she is now almost 10 years old and very healthy. I switched her to mature food when she was about 7 years old so she has been eating it for a while now…

Pros

Cons
  • There are problems

Our 16 year old senior cat has IBD and is gradually responding to all the vet's special cat foods. Out of desperation we decided to give it a try. Our cat loved the taste but after about 12 hours she started vomiting and had multiple bouts of explosive diarrhea. My point is that if you have IBD issues that you address, other cat owners should think twice that this limited ingredient diet food may not work for your cat, despite what others have written in reviews here. . We did find that it…

God has sent! in food

When my cat became seriously ill we had to put her on a very strict diet and we had to do it very quickly. As all cat owners know, you should gradually transition your cats from one food to another. Due to the current situation, we had to stop feeding the cats other dry food. To my great surprise, they never got sick when they changed the food. To which I was shocked as I couldn't even gradually switch them to these. My only cat has died but I have decided to keep her sister for as long as…

Didn't know different food could make the difference

We recently switched two of our older cats from Purina One to this food because they were vomiting almost every day. They stopped vomiting almost completely. Only do this if they're eating foods they shouldn't be eating. But the most amazing thing is our oldest cat eye. For many years she had eye problems due to an injury. Her eyes were cloudy and weeping sticky stuff. We tried several treatments and just accepted the fact that she was like this because it didn't seem to hurt. A few days after…

No more vomiting! about food

Way Teng recently developed a serious problem with what I call "scarf and vomit." He's 14 or 15 years old. After every meal I could hear him throwing up all over the house. Sometimes dry food came back, sometimes a clear liquid when there was no food in the stomach. When he came to me for pets, I could hear his stomach turning and his breathing was awful. He ate Purina ONE Hairball Mix. I switched to the more expensive Purina Pro plan for sensitive skin and stomach for a better feel. This had…
