The food has a pleasant smell and really small pieces perfect for a small dog so he can eat without falling out of his mouth. He loves it a lot more than Fresh Pet, the chilled food people love. It is stored for a long time, since a small portion satisfies its appetite. The product comes in a resealable bag so the "taste" of dog food doesn't fill up the pantry.

Firstly in the advertising all claims about the "clean ingredient label” are completely false, there are many fillers, enhancers and chemicals on the ingredient label. Second, my dogs somehow knew I was mixing it in their regular food because I found food pellets everywhere. My dog poop also suddenly became soft and watery. I would not buy it again as it is misleading and apparently not very tasty.

I personally don't know anything about the taste of this product, but my dogs always love to eat this food, so I give it 5 stars. My Australian Shepherd is very sensitive and will throw up anything made from this most famous brand of food. Blue Buffalo was a good choice.
