I used these for some festival decorations. They worked great for the weekend, but eventually stopped working. I'll probably hold on to the supplies for future costumes/decorations, but if you have the money I'd go for a higher quality, more expensive lighting system.

This was a very nice purchase. I was a little worried that some people complained about the sound this emitted. I would have to say it would be equivalent to a mosquito buzzing around you. If the mosquito is right next to your ear, you are annoyed by it, if you are at least 12 inches from the mosquito (or the battery pack) you are never going to hear it, let alone be bothered by it.

Worked perfectly; the 5 1-meter strips were enough to do a full front and back stickman for my 2 year old. Sewn on with fishing line and some sewn in velcro to mate the sweaters to the sweatpants made sure that no matter how they twisted, everything stayed aligned.Spooked out some kids, but everyone wanted to take a photo and they got SO much candy.

This was a great add on for my sons’ costume. The 4 star overall is because there is a noise that’s emitted from the battery unit when powered on. Only noticeable since it’s in a helmet. I’m sure anywhere else on the body the battery pack would not be heard.
