I never write reviews, but these were so good I had to! My son wanted to be DJ Marshmello for Halloween and wanted a hard mask like he has. I started with a 5 gallon bucket and cut out the eyes and mouth. We were looking for something flexible like this to outline the face in. I could not be happier with the outcome! I was able to glue it on with E6000 and clipped it with clothespins until it was mostly dry. These lights bend really easily and I was able to remove the two strands I didn’t need.

The wire looks great in the dark and since it's five short strands instead of one long one it was perfect for my project. I sewed one to each limb of a jumpsuit and disconnected the fifth one; that made the other four even brighter. You could even buy a few colours and mix and match on the same power source for a custom neon sign or something.

I used this 5 wire EL set to make my halloween costume this year. I went as a stick figure, and the wires worked perfectly as arms and legs for me. I had to make some extensions for the wires so they would consistently reach the inverter, but that was a simple splice and tape job using some cheap wire from Lowes. We used these to make my son a stick figure costume. We secured them to a sweatshirt and sweat pants using ice make hose and safety pins. They were perfect! The battery pack does make a high pitched noise while on but we only noticed it in quiet spaces.Overall we were really happy with these light strips. They fit our application perfectly and with the way we used them we can use them again for something else in the future.

The color of the light is a more little more blue than I’d like, I was looking for white. Another little issue, is that whenever I turn it on I hear this ringing/buzzing sound. Other than that, I think it looks really nice, and a lot of people seem to like what I’ve made with it.

I used this to turn my son into a stick figure for Halloween. I wish that you could unplug each line as it would really help with the gluing but I got through the it. Glued well with a glue gun and the result as just what I hoped for.

I really was surprised at the operation and performance of these EL devices! They are a unique addition to my collection of interesting light-emitting devices I can make use of in a variety of situations. They are portable, battery operated light-emitting cords that can be twisted and bent in a variety of ways that cannot be done when using LED-based devices. Very Cool!

Im sure other people would have use for this but I wanted this to use for my cosplay and found a couple of problems when trying to use this. The first of which is the fact there is a distinct buzzing that comes from it once it turns on. The other problem I’ve e noticed is that it’s not that bright for what it looks like in the photos, for reference it’s like a lowlit led.

Perfect for my halloween costume, bright and easy to use. Will reuse in my husbands car to highlight the dash and door opening. One request is to make the cords a little longer from where you plug it in to the battery pack so you have more option for different uses.

Used the 5 wire for my son's tron costume, and it worked perfectly! Very easy to thread through and glue down. It also had great flexibility and not only was it lightweight, but brighter than anticipated. Used a separate single wire for his disc. Also bright and lightweight. Turned out perfectly! Would highly recommend this product anytime.

Worked perfect for a family full of stick man costumes. One set is good for kids, adults needed two due to our leg/torso length, we just made out head/body different colors. It was quite handy to be able to plus any color into any battery pack.

Bright and exactly as described - the plug in connectors make it easier to install than units with the EL wire directly attached with a wire that does not have a connector like this one does. This also lets you custom mix different colors if you have more than one unit. I loved this! We (my 10 yr old and I) saw a figure stick costume for Halloween online already made, but it was over $100 so we decided to make one ourselves. I came across these and it worked perfectly! Very easy to use. I used a hot glue gun to hold the wires down on a sweatshirt and sweatpants.
