Blue Buffalo Healthy Gourmet Natural Adult Wet Cat Food - Pate Formula Review

I started feeding the cat this food yesterday. Since then he has pooped twice. I live in a small 1 bedroom house and work from home. Yesterday's first poop smelled so bad I had to take it out of the litter box and throw up in the mask before I could get it out. Today I was woken up from a deep sleep by the smell of a second poop. I bought 3 packs of this nightmare food and it will be gone from my house as soon as there is a cheaper food that I have been feeding the cat.

All 17 cats at the shelter loved this item. It seemed to have good ingredients, was affordable, and didn't make any of them nauseous like some products do. Unfortunately this product has been discontinued so I cannot reorder it. I've read reviews of an alternative Blue product designed to replace this product, but the reviews weren't encouraging. I ordered the Healthy Gourmet Turkey Chicken Pie cat food pictured. What was delivered was a glass and a product that doesn't remotely resemble it. The delivered product is called Tastefuls. Texture, smell, appearance and especially taste are completely different and of very low quality. I don't consider it a pie as it is watery. My cat wanted nothing to do with it. My cats really liked it for a while but I think they eventually got tired of it. In addition, a cat does not like pie very much. I've looked through most cases and it's a lot cheaper in bulk.
