Removed 60Hz background and improved sound quality

As far as I can tell there is no longer any annoying noise and the subwoofers are much more responsive. They sound a lot better than the cheaper Insignia brand cables they replaced.

The real deal: audio and video accessories

Exactly what I was hoping for. Larger wire with added strength on both ends to prevent shorting over time when bent at an angle. for connection to subwoofer and AVR. This could only be better if the ends were at a 90 degree angle. Much better than the cheap one I paid for a Best Buy a few years ago for about $20, but without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend.

A little pricey for subwoofer cable

A little pricey but as an American manufacturer I didn't mind spending a few bucks more. Shielding is great, I was a bit worried about the cable rat nest I have. in this setting. But absolutely no interference from these cables. If your gear is in the 10,000 range, you should be spending upwards of $30 on a couple of cables. You also know you're helping an American company stay afloat.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Do yourself a favor and ditch the overpriced Audioquest cables and choose Blue Jeans Cables for everything you need! Got this because I needed a shorter run due to my sub moving. I switched from a very cheap RCA (everything I had except 20FT) and the difference in quality/volume was amazing! Worth the extra dollars. Plus, getting a product made in the USA is always incredibly satisfying and a huge plus.

Excellent quality cable, enhanced bass, worth buying.

I have to admit I was skeptical that an extra cable would make a huge difference in bass quality, but these cables are legit. I noticed cleaner and punchier bass, so much so that I had to turn down the gain on the subwoofers as they sounded louder. These are quality cables, you get what you pay for. I also have blue jean cables from the receiver to the amp which are high quality coax connections. This is my first time using Blue Jeans cables, very impressed and will be using them for all my…

Believe the Hype - Subwoofer Cable

This product delivers a clean signal. Before that I used an SVS cable to connect to my SVS SB-3000 subwoofer. The problem was that either the sound would tire out, or if the gain was turned down, the bass would become too mellow. Also, it always seemed to me like there were gaps in the frequency response. With the LC-1 you can increase the gain without tiring. Zero. The sound quality is now at cinema level. The bass is powerful, unobtrusive and blends seamlessly with the main speakers. Trust…

Pronounced subwoofer hum!

I bought this cable because I had subwoofer hum. I used Monoprice's notoriously cheap cable. I bought a new receiver (Denon S703H) and found that I need to twist the cable in a certain direction to avoid hum. I found a blue jean cable somewhere on the internet and decided to give it a try. First, yes, the cable is expensive. But the connectors look good and the cable looks premium. The best thing is that it solved my hum problem. Conclusion: Cable quality is important. Shielding matters. I am…

Healed the hum of the earth when nothing else worked

Struggled with the hum from the subwoofer for some time. The subwoofer is powered by the Monster Power Center AC adapter but still has significant ground loop hum. An additional ground loop isolator has been added. It does not work. Assign a separate AC circuit to the sub (didn't help). I tried the Blue Jeans isolation transformer and it worked, but it changed the phase of the signal to the subwoofer and it was hard for my ear to hear. As a last resort, I replaced the wrong high-end subwoofer…

Stop feeding the monster!

I was reading some great reviews of Blue Jeans Cable products on various websites and in stereo/home theater magazines and a few weeks ago decided to buy this Revain subwoofer cable. This cable replaced the Mediabridge cable I bought with one of my subwoofers over a year ago. The Mediabridge cable is a great cable by any measure, but when I switched to the Blue Jeans cable the deep bass was audible and had better support. I was also impressed with the apparent build quality of the cable, so I…
