Let me tell you guys. I invested in this mic and WOW! I think I have a semi-low voice. I get compliments on my voice all the time. And after a week this mic complements my voice like hell. My brother uses this as his main mic and gets incredible vocals from it. Recommended of course. I bought one, recorded a few times with it, but then the problems started. The mic sometimes took 30 seconds or more to "connect". and I would have to push it to make it work. I suspect it was a phantom power issue in the mic itself. I had to return it. Update: Received replacement very quickly! This microphone is fantastic. So smooth, so natural. Although it comes pre-configured and ready for plug-and-play, it responds well to EQ changes and, like other mids, is easy to work with. The shock absorber is fur. Looks good. Nice. But blue mounts are known for their shorter lifespans. Don't let that stop you from buying this amazing microphone. We are waiting for a replacement.
