Senior friendly in golf

I thought it would be difficult for me as an older guy with unsteady hands to fix the flag. The locking mechanism worked very well and I had no problems. I keep it!

  • An absolute legend
Cons

Great budget buy! in the sports department

A friend has a more expensive model with anti-vibration function. I've found myself reading three times quite often, but once I get a consistent answer, it's spot on! The case is great too! Came with a carabiner that attaches directly to my bag. For the price this is a great item!

  • Great for me

Questionable quality

I have taken this rangefinder to the track twice and it has already broken. I had the item in a soft case that accompanies the item when not in use. The second time I used the range finder it was raining lightly (golf is an outdoor sport and the item needs to withstand that) and now it's impossible to see through the lens as the water got in and ruined the item. Overall very disappointed with the quality.

Not compatible with accessories

I bought this rangefinder because my previous one had no inclination and wanted to upgrade it. This range finder is very inconsistent. I've used it for two rounds now and I never get the same length twice in a row. I can shoot a pin three times and get three different numbers... and they differ by a few feet, so I'll just take the average. I don't think the tilt works properly as there were a few times where it was obvious that the pen was higher or lower and the tilt didn't change.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • There are new competitors

i wanted to love it

Finally got to use this on a course as I live in Northern Michigan. I was incredibly excited to buy this based on the reviews but was immediately disappointed after using it for the first two rounds. When I stood in the same spot and shot yards at 30-second intervals, I got readings that were 5 or more yards apart. He was often 10-15 feet from my playmate Bushnell. It is also very difficult to fix the target. Oblique readings were consistently even more common. I really wanted to love it but I…

Great price, needs reshoots from time to time

It's very light and easy to use Distance and maybe if I reshoot a few times I'll get a little difference in the numbers. For example, the first number is 158 yards, the second is 151, I shoot again and it will be 153. So I would say if you want the exact exact number this might not be the one. But for me it gives me a good average to base on and as this is my first rangefinder I'm not sure if they are getting more accurate or not. But for $130, it has water resistance, tilt technology, and a…
