High quality bike stand

High quality bike stand. Creates a very stable position for the bike. However, note that it does not fit all bike frames. I bought this for my Scott mountain bike but it was too short and I ended up swapping it out for a Cannondale bike stand which was a little different. But whatever, it's still a great booth.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No instructions

Couldn't handle the weight

Worked like a charm when I first installed it. But when I attached my baskets, loaded for a five-day bike ride, to the rack, the stand buckled under the weight. I think I could probably line it up again if my bike isn't heavily loaded, but I was disappointed in its performance considering how durable it seemed.

Broken nuts ended up in a bent rim

When I installed the footpeg I noticed that some of the nuts on the inner pivot were a bit torn off. It ended up working well enough to feel sturdy, but as I rode the bike it came loose. The top of my arm eventually got into my spokes and bent my rim as I rode. Don't risk it.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Older model

That's good, but it ended up near the crank

Worked. But the rubber grommets appear to be clipped from the edges of the main clamp, so make sure it's positioned correctly before you push it down. It is mounted closer to the center of the chainstay due to the long top support bar. It's good, but he was close to the connecting rod. But that is probably due to the design and also to the small bezel.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Almost never

Well, if it fits. suitable for car carrier, transport and storage

does not fit my height 52 cm 2017 Salsa Vaya. My partner is engaged in the manufacture of metal structures. He made the second mount plate longer so I can use the stand and after modification it works really well. Note that this footrest is not suitable for all bikes. 4 stars because the stand works great, but I had to get a second mounting plate. The stand supports my bike with a front rack and rear panniers.

Pros
  • great for me
Cons
  • some difficulties

difficult conditions. Firmly. Not that attractive.

If you are looking for a footrest that will not bend, comes off easily and requires a heavier bike, buy this footrest. I bent a few other options along the way to this stand, these can handle quite a bit of weight. I have an e-bike and it needs a firm footing. It meets all the requirements. It's not attractive. He won't win a single beauty pageant. But it's functional, strong, withstands bumps and still performs as it should.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Nothing
