I never normally write reviews but this one had to be said. The jumper wire will NOT stay together unless hand taped or taped together, but when I wrap the tape around it the lights short out and flash multiple colors. Over time all the plastic started to melt and seeped into the headlights themselves causing 1) the headlights to stop completely, 2) there was a risk of fire as the wires and connector were very hot, 3) actually one the spike on the plug itself broke off. To be as honest as possible I've waited a bit with this review. The color scheme and brightness of the lights are great; If only they had hung in my room for more than one night! The connection cable is ridiculously flimsy and will slip out if not secured by hand. Even after the wires were glued together, they were still pulling out and shorting out, shorting out the light. These lights worked perfectly for about a month, except for an inexplicable color change once or twice a day without being asked. First. I start with RF Remote; I didn't know they made the RF remote for light strips, it's so handy you don't have to point the remote at the power cord. To change colors or programmed light sequences and the on/off button, just point the remote anywhere in close proximity (very handy and I love it!).
