Great STEM project for beginners

As advertised, an easy solder free kit, suitable for an 8 to 9 year old. The sound isn't very good, but it's better than you think, and it lends itself to modification - I put one in a Halloween decoration and made a bluetooth skull. Great STEM project for beginners.

Not perfect but worth it

It was fun to assemble and definitely worth the money. I do get some interference for some reason, but it's acceptable for the price, the joy I had with the construction almost entirely offsets the sound quality. Might try changing it to fix the static issue. That's why I have it as something to play around with. It doesn't have to be perfect.

Cool little speaker

It was a fun little project. The speakers are quite small, but actually quite loud. I used some gray to make it look a little better. The only complaint is that there is no volume control, so you have to set up a BT source. Keep the volume around 70% just right. If you crank the volume all the way up, you get a lot of distortion.

Samll box with powerful sound

The product was assembled quickly. There are no problems. Audio has no volume control - you use the source to adjust the output. My system is 1 in 100 and sounds good over a distance. Battery power offers portability, but leaving it on for too long drains the battery. Runs on batteries. The speaker brings great sound to your desktop.

Poor sound quality, the device can only play half the volume from each device.

The schematic is good but poor quality chips were used for this project. The device can only handle half the volume and the sound starts to crackle/crackle. I thought the speakers might be of poor quality, but I checked with another device that the speakers played great at full volume. This provider needs to do more random build quality checks to ensure they are getting good circuits. Good quality speakers, perfect size and strength magnets. If nothing else I'd say it would be better if you…
