Pros: The device looks high quality. It's small and easy to carry when you need to move. Since no cable connection is required, you can easily take it with you if you need to change conference rooms during a meeting. The mute button is easily accessible. The backlit speaker helps a lot. There are 4 microphones on the device and when someone in the room speaks, a light will flash above the microphone to help the speaker ensure they are receiving sound. At 5-6 meters the sound is clear, that's…

Looks like I have a replacement for my expensive conference phones

I'm trying to rid my office of expensive landline and speakerphones. eMeet M2 (used with my iPhone - not included ;) passed my initial tests - picks up people from all directions, 10 feet away, holds multiple calls at the same time. The Bluetooth connection is very simple. I am ordering 4 more. Updated after purchasing eMeet M220s: I ran into an issue when trying to use more than one M2 speaker in our offices - the M2 would not let me update the device name to a common unique name. eMeet has…

The best portable conference speaker on the market

The new and improved eMeet M2 wireless speaker conference phone is the best on the market. With 4 built-in microphones, it monitors the speakers in the room with full 360 degree coverage. Callers hear crystal clear voice quality and are easy to understand throughout the conference room thanks to the 84 dB speaker. Gone are the days of handing the phone across the table so callers can hear the speaker better. Thanks to the latest Bluetooth technology, connecting to my cell phone is a simple push

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Best solution for people with hearing loss

I have moderate to severe high frequency hearing loss. It is becoming increasingly difficult to communicate on conference calls and with strong background noise. I bought a set of hearing aids and now I have a third set that lasts about five years each. My current hearing aids are digital, multi-programmable and controlled via Bluetooth from my smartphone. I bought an eMeet M2 to replace my old speakerphone, mainly because Bluetooth was randomly switching between the speakerphone and my hearing

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Wonderful voice quality

As someone who hosts or attends multiple web conferences per week, my audio conferencing experience has ranged from portable smartphones to speakers to dedicated conference speakers, multiple wireless mics and multiple wired mics at a table to multiple wired microphones hanging from the ceiling. We struggled with every decision. I have now tried the eMeet M2 in a personal phone call, a home test from across the street, a workplace web conference as a participant and as a workplace web…

Emeet M2 speakerphone vs Jabra Speak 710

Pros: - Good microphone - Speakers good for conference calls and listening to music with lots of singing - Easy to use - Small size - Suitable for travel - Long lasting battery - Comes with a case - Good value for money Bad: - Sounds far away if you're too far from speakerphone (8ft) - Sometimes buttons don't activate when pressed Conclusion: I have both Jabra Speak 710 and an eMeet M2 hands-free phone. I'll continue my comparison later, but the eMeet M2 is a solid speakerphone with a good…
