Simple, does exactly what it says on the tin. Works great as intended for credit cards. The card needs to be swiped in a stripe on the opposite side of the green light (unlike the reader I use). As some may not know, you must place your cursor in the credit card field on your computer for the reader to work. This may be why some reviewers complain that their readers don't work.

We use College ID Recorder to write meal plans on it. Setup was pretty easy. We use a cable as our computer does not have Bluetooth. We've found that we have to unplug and plug it back in when not in use for a long time. Then it works fine. When we press the record button, there is a faint click.
