velcro stop working after 3 times wearing. They keep falling off. They sit very low on the child's leg, so the snow falls right there. Not only does her boots fall off because the velcro has snapped, now she trips over the velcro while walking. In fact, I had to tape my velcro to the boots while we waited for her new pair of winter boots to arrive.

These boots are very soft on the inside, bend easily and do not deform when worn. really warm. Our daughter wore these in the snowy mountains at 5°F until she was 2 and she was absolutely comfortable (we bought 2 sizes of shoes to wear warm socks with enough room to avoid tightness). But during a walk in the wet snow, the boots got wet. especially around the toes. So they are not waterproof! Although the manufacturer advertises them as waterproof.

Had to order (and return) several pairs of boots for our little one. He has wide feet, and most of them were either too difficult to put on, too heavy, or not warm enough. These are really great, easy to put on, warm and feel very comfortable, walked around as soon as they were on. Also very cute. Not sure about durability and water resistance but compared to several more expensive shoes this one is definitely a winner for us.
