The remote control is pretty easy to connect and use. Channel up/down and volume work well. Actual channel numbers sometimes take a few taps to register and you should be pretty much in front of them. But it works.

wish I got this sooner. This distance worked with my Samsung Smart TV. The remote control feels a little cheap, but it does the job. The battery cover is very easy to remove, but given the cost of breaking it, I'll just get another one.

It is very light and therefore feels cheap in the hand. Sometimes buttons get stuck when pressed and you have to pull them out of their respective holes before you can press the next button. After all, it gets the job done, although I wouldn't recommend it for regular everyday use.
