The remote looks good but I can't open it to put the batteries in. It should open just like the original Samsung remote, but this one doesn't. All members of my family tried unsuccessfully to open it. i think i have to go back

I thought I would buy a brand new universal remote control. It came in a small manila envelope with no instructions or directions. Nothing wrapped or anything like that. Like they sent me the ones they used at home.

During the COVID quarantine, the battery in the original remote control corroded and destroyed it. Samsung and its suppliers have nothing and are not available. Revain to the rescue, it came a day and a half early! Works out of the box, no programming required. Plus easy to open for batteries, I had to use a knife on the original!

only thing missing is a microphone which I never used anyway, all functions nominally work no worse than OEM, doesn't look that fancy but all functions work fine. You'll have to 'plug' it into your TV, but as soon as you turn on the TV with the new remote control, simple on-screen instructions will show you how to do this. Completely satisfied.

My remote was broken on arrival, my original remote is broken but still works although unreliable. Use your mobile phone's camera to check if the remote control is working. If you look at the mobile phone screen and press the button on the remote control, you should see the LED light up. This remote doesn't even have that, so connecting it to a TV is impossible.

Our original remote no longer works and there is no manual power button on the TV! It would be crazy to swap out a perfectly good 65-inch TV because the remote control is dead. I put a few batteries in this replacement remote and it worked right away. No questions. It is true that this replacement makes a "click" when pressing the keys, unlike the original which was silent, but what a difference! For €20 I'm thrilled.
