Works perfectly. I couldn't be happier. The remote control that came with the TV was awful and this thing is amazing. Worked right out of the box.

I bought this remote control to replace the one that came with my un50ru7100. Neither the numeric keypad nor the pause/play button work. These buttons work with my old un60ku6300 but not with my new TV. Will return.

I hated the remote that came with my Samsung UN437100RU because of the many buttons and terrible layout. On the other hand, this remote control is very simple, much smaller and easier to use. Everything works great, didn't even have to connect to the TV.

I bought the UN58RU7100FXZA from Samsung and was very disappointed with the remote control. It was cumbersome and not intuitive. We replace Samsung with a better remote but I couldn't sync it. This takes over the work just like the Smart Controller. The only gripe is that the Samsung Smart Controller's volume and channel buttons feel like metal, while those buttons are made of plastic, giving it a less luxurious feel.
