Very high SWR on CB and 2-way radio

Each antenna is marked on the packaging with an SWR of less than 1.5. Cons

Great price and amazingly strong lil antennas!

Excellent value for money and I was rightly surprised at how good they are for the price. Its frequency range is really good for my region. I am using a different antenna on my radio. In terms of frequency response, they pick up frequencies from 470 in the high end and up to 170 megahertz.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

SWR in portable audio and video devices Wide

The maximum SWR I could get was 5.2 and the top was 9.9. They say he has 1.5 at 144MHz and 430MHz. Don't believe it. I tried 3 handhelds and 2 SWR but not good. I will say they did really well on the RX. I would send them back but I use them for my scanners. I've also found that the impedance is between 28 ohms and 42 ohms, not 50 ohms.

Pros
  • Antennas
Cons
  • Negative impression

Works amazingly well with portable audio and video devices

These antennas are amazing. The workmanship appears to be good and the SWR results were the same on both bands. I use them on HT and with my wideband receiver, both Yaesu products. The radios work just as well as the stock antennas. The power rating confused me a bit. This listing says 20W but the box says 50W. I'm going to play it safe.

Pros
  • Maximum Power Consumption, Watts: 20W; it can help your portable radio increase your talk range
Cons
  • Frequency
