Good consistency in my review

The wire is as described and the picture matches what's in front of me mostly. The only slight difference is that the enamel coating catches the light and gives a more clear appearance instead of the pure deep red you see. The spool is injection molded and thick, something you'd keep around even after the wire.All in all I'm happy with the purchase and will be using it in all sorts of projects in the near future.

  • The wire may not be suitable for use in harsh chemical environments.

Rewind stator in my review

Just what I needed to rewind stator on Onan engine. 20 wraps each post, alternate directions post to post. Tough coating so no shorts to ground. Charging voltage back to 14.5 VDC.

Pros
  • Comes with a large spool size, offering ample length for a variety of wire projects and reducing the need for frequent spool changes
Cons
  • The wire may not be suitable for use in devices that require high pressure resistance.

As expected good for me

I'm using it for electromagnetic field projects with high school and middle school physics. It seems to work. That's my review.

Pros
  • Magnet wire is copper wire that coated with a thin layer of insulated enamel.This 34AWG magnet wire is 2 ounces(922 feet).The copper strands conducts,the insulation is made from modified Polyester with a Polyamideimide overcoat,and protects the coiled wire from short-circuiting.
Cons
  • The wire may be difficult to handle if you have limited dexterity.

Great for point-to-point soldering

Perfect for low current (signal) point-to-point soldering. Coating burns off in 8-10 seconds with a 400ºC iron and tins nicely with lead-free solder.

Pros
  • Enamel is difficult to remove and requires a bit hotter of a soldering iron.
Cons
  • The wire may be difficult to solder or otherwise attach to other components.

Quality Wire Used for AM Radio Coil winding.

The wire has a nice enamel coating which is easy to remove for soldering. I used this to rewrap an AM radios internal ferrite antenna. It is a kit radio called the Murania, and changing the inductance of the coil can make a huge difference on sensitivity. A decent value for what you get.

Pros
  • This was a gift for a kid who never used it. I’d love to have it back so I could use it.
Cons
  • The wire may be difficult to work with if you are not familiar with magnet wire.
