After reading the previous reviews I felt I should write my own to help one to help potential buyers. Apparently the previously applied adhesive strips were not thermally conductive. I bought these in March 2018 and they now come with real hot melt adhesive strips. Now I start my 3D printer and I can feel the heat going through the heatsinks and the steppers are noticeably colder. My only complaint has to do with the adhesion of the strips. Bought to install my 3D printer's stepper motors. I was happy to see that the thermal pads themselves were of fairly decent quality, but I was also disappointed that they couldn't safely support the weight of the heatsink. My Verdict: If you're buying this product as a heatsink for a small chip or transistor, it will probably do a pretty good job, assuming you're not expecting a lot of movement or vibration.
