Good wire, takes solder well. The caliber seems correct, judging by my wire cutters I can't bother to measure it. The length was as stated.

Wanted to use this to replace the old thin steel wire in my amp. So I cut the same length and measured the resistance. This wire had a resistance of 0.7 ohms while the old thin steel wire had a resistance of 0.1 ohms.

I bought 14 gauge wire for ATV assembly and I'm glad I went with it. This is real copper wire with the most flexible silicone outer jacket available. A very good quality. Next time I can get a 12 gauge for the same application now that I know how flexible it is.

Excellent wire, super tight wire, yes it is real pure copper throughout. For those who don't believe it's real copper, just cut it in half and check out the filament ends, which are tinned copper. Trust me I wouldn't be using them for what I do if they weren't.

I used this wire for my 3D printer platform. It solders very well and the wire itself is nice and flexible so you can route it where you need it. I would definitely recommend this wire for any high temperature application. It has held up well on our 3D printer platform for over 6 months.

This wire sounds like one of those crappy Chinese corporate brands (and it might be), but this wire is excellent. Flexible, heat resistant and actually tinned copper with suitable AWG wire gauge. The only recommendation is not to use this wire near sharp objects as silicone sleeves are softer than PVC. good product.

The wire is very well soldered. It's very flexible, maybe even too flexible. I've used this wire in a few speaker building projects. I like putting the wire in the drill bit and twisting the wires together, it looks nice and helps with wire routing. The part that is too flexible ensures that the wire does not remain twisted too much. To fix this I use heat shrink tubing on both ends to hold the wires together at least a little.

Used with lamp holders to refurbish an old ceiling light. Silicone insulated wire withstands higher temperatures in a closed device and is therefore ideal for this purpose. The only problem is that the colors weren't what I would have liked. Black and white is AC convention, but these individual coils were more expensive than that. So I compromised by using the DC convention: red for hot and black for ground.

Various reviewers from cable suppliers through Revain have stated that they are not getting what is advertised. That the wire (from other vendors) wasn't quite the correct gauge (that it was a smaller gauge wire than advertised) or that it was of poorer quality in one way or another. The original wire has served well in 25 years of use. I'm handicapped and refuse to pay $50,000 for a new truck (it won't perform as well as my 1994 anyway). Give them a chance thanks to the reviews. I was very pleased with the high quality of this "real copper" wire, not coated aluminum - COPPER!, very well tinned, the silicone insulation is real industrial silicone. I run all my wire in a braided nylon sleeve and secure it every 24" with heat shrink tubing with adhesive over all connections -
