The wire is very well soldered. It's very flexible, maybe even too flexible. I've used this wire in a few speaker building projects. I like putting the wire in the drill bit and twisting the wires together, it looks nice and helps with wire routing. The part that is too flexible ensures that the wire does not remain twisted too much. To fix this I use heat shrink tubing on both ends to hold the wires together at least a little.
