Of course, all sewing machines use rubber tires of the same size.

The rubber tire on the take-up reel on Mom's old Schneider sewing machine has fallen apart. I had no idea how to get a replacement. Then I searched Revain.com. It was too easy. Obviously all sewing machines use the same size. In any case, it fits.

Pros
  • Haberdashery and sewing accessories
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Not suitable for winding Singer Early 91

Used (or tried) for Singer machine but tire was too small. I tried heating them up as one user suggested but they still cracked. The photo shows one installed, showing how small it was. Unfortunately, none of the advertised tires specify a diameter, so it's a gamble. I do not recommend gambling, all four I bought are shared.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Excessive price

Matching the old Singer

five because they work but not right away. I have a 1935 Singer model 15. I tried the tire right out of the bag and it blew straight away. Finally used boiling water to heat up the tire and it glides great. Place about 2 cups of distilled water in a saucepan on the stove and bring to a boil. They took it off the stove and put the pan in the sink so the heat from the stove wouldn't stick to the pan. I lowered the tire into the pot and waited about five minutes for all of the rubber to heat up…
