Exactly what I wanted! I originally bought a couple of these 1" tags for something else, but I liked them so much I decided to buy some 3/4" dog tags for my dogs. I love being able to quickly change her tags and it was *perfect*! They are strong, sturdy and smooth! I am not satisfied with the quality of these products. Do not get me wrong. They are not designed for climbing or holding a boat on a mooring line. But even with light applications, they fall short of expectations. The main reason is that the part of the clamp - the spring loaded part that opens - is really very cheap and poorly made. Most clips of this type use a one-piece cast/machined part that actually helps increase the clip's strength when engaged. But this one uses a thin piece of metal…
