It's a shame there are REALLY weird negative reviews about the build quality. This French press is great! I've been using it every day for several months and it's just as good as the day I bought it. Not to mention the most important fact, it makes delicious coffee. For the price you can't go wrong.

Lasted a few months, the metal has a rough edge which has already scratched the glass just a matter of time before it breaks. The glass looks much thinner than my previous coffee maker. Was my last Bodum in 12 years! I probably won't use it for a year. Apparently they only produce bulk garbage these days.
