Bodum Spare Glass Without Spout Review

Don't worry. Glass is too fragile. The first one I ordered arrived broken and the second lasted less than a month. If your original is broken, don't waste time replacing it. You will only throw away good money after bad money.

Excellent press. delicious coffee. The size of the carafe is ideal for preparing two cups of coffee. The only complaint is the "nails on board" sound when the metal plunger presses against the edges of the metal carafe. Otherwise very satisfied with the product

I can't believe in less than 3 months of use I've just sat on my desk and heard a crack. I will not replace it again. The glass in them used to be strong, but now it's so thin it just bursts from the heat of the coffee. I wish I had bought a different coffee maker. Didn't realize I was spending more than double the press's original cost to purchase replacement glass inserts.

I purchased Chambord Ref 11171-17 direct from the Bodum website. When the jar broke (in hindsight I should have shown the kids how to empty it) I expected this jar to fit, especially since it's the recommended replacement jar on their website, but it doesn't. Bodum customer service has requested a video and proof of purchase but after sending them, five days later they are completely unresponsive.

I have had a Bodum 17oz Gold French Press for a long time and love it! In a hurry after tidying up hot coffee in it, I filled it with cold water (I know, an amateur move) from the tap and it broke. I ordered this replacement carafe as soon as they were back in stock but it doesn't fit the French press like the original carafe. In the photo, the lid and screw cap of the fresh squeezer do not come together. In the second photo, I'm trying to put the carafe in the French press. not suitable.
