I usually use stainless steel probes to stretch my ear. I decided to try them as there are 24 pieces in the set. A few days after I had my ears stretched, I noticed that they were getting infected. After contacting the doctors, they told me that I had a reaction to the plastic that the sensors are made of. It may have been just me, but be careful when using them.

I actually bought them to reduce the size. Larger editions are hard to find. (Currently I'm at 1 inch or 24mm). I end up throwing in the skittles and just using the plugs. What I might add, I hate o-rings, but without them it's impossible to find non-metal (at least in the calibration cycle). They are of excellent quality. Nice packaging but wow the packaging stinks of plastic/vinegar. Let's see if washing helps!

Love the style and the bright color, lots of extras to wear. They don't take water very well, I took a shower with them and the layer of paint came off. Still useful and I love that the kit has all the correct sizes, it definitely helps if you go up in size. The layer of color will also wear off if you wear one size too long. To avoid this problem, it is better to buy solid colors unless you plan to wear them for several hours in a row.

Although this is not my first time buying this product I was a bit skeptical because it had no reviews which meant I went to this blind. I decided to buy it anyway and was thrilled. This kit arrived in the mail four days after purchase and the quality is amazing. They look just like the photo and are lightweight. the package that I even received even had a small piece of paper that I could use to measure the dimensions of the sensor! I highly recommend this product.

You can't beat this stretch kit for the price. The cones are smooth and the plugs have very shallow o-ring grooves. I had small bubbles in many candles. It's fine as I'll be switching to double flared wood plugs as soon as my ears allow, but there are a few things to consider if you plan on wearing plugs on a regular basis. None of the parts had bubbles on the surface causing roughness, so the problem is purely cosmetic. Really a small downside for a great price.

Great price thought it would go up to 1 inch but only 20mm. I must have read it wrong. I was able to stretch my ears pretty quickly with this, but be careful and listen to what your body is saying to avoid a blowout. I also recommend a Sizing Gear Healing Balm. It works wonders when stretched. I used to use Neosporin, but the gauge healing balm is absolutely essential with ear strain. So this piercing kit will do the job and if I eventually get the right caliber I'll buy good organic stone…

I went from a standard ear piercing to a 16mm piercing from the same company in about n 8 months and I have to say that I've done well with my purchase am very satisfied. I'm glad I chose these plastic (or similar) materials over metals. I've always had an issue with metal cones flying out of my ears due to their weight, even with o-rings, not these.
