You can't beat this stretch kit for the price. The cones are smooth and the plugs have very shallow o-ring grooves. I had small bubbles in many candles. It's fine as I'll be switching to double flared wood plugs as soon as my ears allow, but there are a few things to consider if you plan on wearing plugs on a regular basis. None of the parts had bubbles on the surface causing roughness, so the problem is purely cosmetic. Really a small downside for a great price.
