This was for the grandkids of a Chromebook. Everyone said it was broken and too expensive to just replace the screen. They were all wrong. TechOrbits customer service not only helped me select the screen I needed for this model, they installed it very easily. Grandchildren back in the game!

Put this in a Samsung Chromebook 4. It's not a touchscreen model, but I wasn't expecting it. This worked great as a 1 for 1 replacement, easy to install and a lot cheaper than the $150-200 I've seen replacements for this model.

While this replacement worked well, its installation was lacking. The holes to align the display with the sockets on the frame were in the wrong place. This meant installing screws and pressing the alignment tabs over the bushings with the tabs sticking up. At least the screw holes got the screen in the right position on the frame, and the curved tabs didn't get in the way of assembly. In our case, this was a better option than replacing the entire Chromebook. If you don't have repair tools…

I was offered over $100 to fix the screen on my HP 11 inch Chromebook which I only paid $119 for. I was about to buy another Chromebook but decided to check Youtube to try and fix myself. I saved a lot of money by fixing it myself. To make sure I selected the correct screen, I was able to find the number on the sticker on the back of the broken screen that matches the Revain number. The repair took less than 10 minutes. I'm a bit tech savvy and it was very easy. It didn't bother me.
