Excellent thimble, suitable for sewing supplies and supplies

I have only worked with metal thimbles before. I didn't like her very much. However, when I received this thimble it was a little tight, but I imagine it will stretch a bit with use. It fits really well and seems to add a lot of padding so I don't feel the needle at all when using it. Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Sewing tools
Cons
  • Almost never

Ease of use is good for sewing accessories and consumables

Repeated manual quilting wears out fingers a lot. Most thimbles are too bulky for me and take some getting used to. This thimble is thin and flexible enough not to interfere with sewing, but heavy enough to protect. I bought a second one to put in my bag for another project.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Upgradable

Comfortable and very good fit

This thimble has no defects. Everything is positive. The fit is snug but not tight on my finger. I absolutely hate metal thimbles and have just given up on them. I have long nails and the metal didn't fit right. So skin. This paired with the Clover Natural Fit leather thimble is beautiful, comfortable and durable.

Pros
  • Sewing tools
Cons
  • Small parts

OK, but not really.

I was looking for the perfect thimble. I wear one on each hand when making Spanish gold. Bohin is made of thick leather, comfortable and fits well. It's also longer than other leather thimbles so it stays in place. The problem is that the seams on the sides allow the needle to snag and dip into that space. I might use it for a while, but I'll probably use my old thimble more. It would be better if there were no seams.

Pros
  • handicrafts and sewing
Cons
  • exorbitant price

Great for knitting

When I'm knitting, I have a habit of pressing the tip of the working needle with the index finger of my left hand. Sometimes my finger hurts. This solves the problem. It's durable and shouldn't fall apart like some of the other leather thimbles I've bought for this purpose. However, there is NO metal point in the ball of your finger, so a sharp sewing or quilting needle can pierce it if you try hard enough. It is no problem for me. For my purposes this is perfect.

Pros
  • Sewing supplies and supplies
Cons
  • No productivity
