The lid I received did not match the dimensions stated in the description. Actually it was 36 inches in each direction. I am back. I can't say anything about the durability etc. because I've never used it.

Very well thought out design. It has velcro for cords and hoses to the house. It also has a drawstring at the bottom to keep it from blowing in the wind. I'll see how it holds up this winter, how much material is enough.

The size of my device is 24 x 24 x 30 and it fits like a pair of comfortable pants! Very good fit and construction, perfect for connecting electro and freon pipes, has velcro which was exactly where I needed it! WORTH IT!

Cover looks good and is true to size. You may want to open the plastic bag it's in from the outside. The coating has a very strong and unpleasant chemical smell to me. I'm sure the smell will dissipate after a few days outdoors. The laces on the underside of the lid don't do much. I ended up using some bungee cords to better protect my air conditioner lid from the wind.

The brand didn't offer an exact size for my air conditioner so I had to buy a slightly larger air conditioner. It went on smoothly. I like the velcro around the hoses/electrics that keeps it in place. I want the cable to be in a different place, it's at the back where it's difficult to tighten, pinched between the unit and the house. It stayed on during the last strong hailstorm and is still looking good.

Although the reviews for this cover were overwhelmingly positive, I was a little skeptical, mainly because of the price. How wrong was I! Much harder work than I thought. The material is dense, all seams are even. The velcro is well made and the size is perfect! I just installed it this morning, and since our winters aren't that harsh here in north-central Texas, my primary concern is to keep fall leaves out of the compressor, so I expect this cover to last for many years.

Because of the winter, I have to worry about the outdoor unit every time. Expensive maintenance costs are annoying. My friend recommends this product to me and the price is very reasonable. The material feels thick and the color is my favorite color. Obviously you can see that the water doesn't seep through the fabric but drains away, so rest assured! I've ordered two of these. One arrived safely. Another was missing the male side of the buckle entirely at the bottom of the velcro to secure it to the base of your caulking line so it wouldn't blow off. The spring-loaded link on the underside also extended on one side and was unusable. Notice that there are two spring-loaded links on opposite sides that go about 8 inches in each direction. This isn't a single jab that encircles the entire base. I'm in the process of replacing a defective one…
